We are home

Ok everyone, a quick update!! Ean got out of the hospital last friday and Camdan got out of the hospital on Tuesday!!! We stayed in Denver and finally got home today!!!! Ean had a dr appointment on wed and Camdan had his on Friday!! We are so excited to be home and just to be together. Dave cant stay too long but we sure are going to enjoy the time we have together!!! The boys are doing so awesome, not use to sleeping in a crib yet but we will work on that!! Jordan got to hold the boys for the first time today and I almost broke out in tears just seeing how excited he was and still is!! He is doing so good with them! He wants to feed them and he has almost mastered holding both of them together at the same time!!! I cant tell you guys how much all of you have meant to me and how thankful we are to have such good and loyal friends!! We love you all!!! Just a side note, when they say that twins usually dont sleep at the same time they are not lying!!!! The nights are long the days are short but the fun and the love are never ending!!!!
Love ya all Dave Kara Jordan Camdan and Ean

Ean gets sprung from the joint

Ok everyone, another quick update about the boys!!! Camdan is doing really well, he has been off of oxygen most of the day and hopefully he will be able to stay off of it!! Yeah!!! He is 6 lbs 14.9 ounces and 7 lbs is just around the corner!! We feed him from a bottle about everyother time and he takes about 50 ccs!!! We are so proud of him, hopefully next week I will be able to spring him from the joint!!! Ean on the other hand loves his oxygen, he only lasted about 2 hours on room air! But that is better than anything and when we take him back to Nebraska the drs think that he will be able to come off of it quickly because of the altitude change. He is taking every thing from the bottle, about 70 ccs each time and acts like he still wants more. He weighs in at 7 lbs 3 ounces!!! What a chunker I know!!! I get to spring him from the joint tomorrow!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will still stay down in Denver until Camdan gets out, but we are half way there!!! Once he starts eating everything we will be on our way home!!!! We want to thank everyone again for their continued support and prayers and hopefully we will be back in Nebraska by next weekend!!!! Love ya all!!!Dave, Kara, Jordan, Camdan and Ean!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 months old

Hey everyone here is another quick update!! I know it has been awhile but here it goes.... they are both over 6 lbs now and they are eating from a bottle about 3-4 times a day!! They are wearing newborn outfits now and they are getting big!! We are hoping that they can come home in the next couple of weeks..... hopefully!!! They both are in big boy cribs now and just turned 2 months old!! Jordan is rockin and ready to go back to school tomorrow and cant wait until mommy comes home with his brothers!!!!! Hope all is well and home and everyone had a happy and safe holiday season!! Love ya all!!!

Another Update

Ok everyone so it has been forever since I have given an update so here it goes!! Both boys are over 5 lbs now and are rockin it!! The are down to very little oxygen and their oxygen level is only monitored 2 days a week now! We are feeding both babies once a day every day and they are getting better!! They both are really developing their attitudes and have learned that if they cry mommy will save them!!! I am very excited about how well things are going!! Knock on Wood!!!! The nurses say that maybe in a couple of weeks we can take them home, but another nurses says not for about another 4 weeks and yet another nurse says that they cant go home until my due date which was jan 26th, so I dont know!! We are also excited that the big boy will be with us for a week and we get to spend christmas together!!!!! Right now Dave and Jordan are at the Bronco game just having a great time I am sure!!!! Anyway, thats where we are at!! All my boys are growing and getting bigger and I continue to stay outnumbered!!! I hope everyone has a merry christmas and a happy new year! Thanks again for all of the love and support and definately for the prayers!! We appreciate all of it!!!Lots of love to all!!

Ean is 3lbs

Here we go and I am happy to say that I only have good news!! Ean made the 3 lb club wednesday night and he is still climbing!! EJ weighs 3 lbs 3 ounces and CJ weighs 3 lbs 4 ounces!! CJ has had his oxygen lowered down too 2 liters and his vapo-therm is at 23% and EJ is down to 3.5 liters and his vapo-therm is down to 28%!!! Hopefully CJ's x-ray this morning is clear and he will be able to get some food in him!! EJ is still being a little monkey pulling out his tubes every chance he can get!! CJ doesnt have his feeding tube in and wont get it in until he starts getting feeds again but he has been really good about leaving his IV's alone!!! The nurses think that maybe the boys will be able to come home about the first week in January as long as the boys are eating well!! If they keep going the way they are going then we should be able to get them into cribs soon enough and then eating!! Hope all had a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Love ya

Camdan is 3lbs

Ok everyone here is a quick update!! Camdan hit 3 lbs exactly on saturday night!! We are so excited!! However, he got a little sick and had to get an IV in his head friday night, blew that one and got one in his leg monday night, blew that one and now has one in his little hand! I am trying to get the doctors to put a central line in cuz he cant eat for another 4 days and he will still have the IV in for at least 2 more weeks. I am not going to be happy if every other day he has to get his IV changed. He has a little bowel irriatation and he is on bowel rest so no food or anything by mouth. He looks much better now and he is starting to get a little fiesty again. Last night he weighed in at 3 lbs 1 oz so he is still gaining weight!! Ean has gotten a yeast infection and has little bumps everywhere!! He wont keep his fingers out of his mouth and he has scratched the corner of his lips pretty bad! He also had a blister on his chest from one of his leads that has broken open and made a big sore! It doesnt bother him though. Last night he weighed in at 2 lbs 15 oz so I am hoping he will join the 3 lb club within the next couple of days. Both the boys are doing great and are starting to get bumped down on their 02! When the boys are about 4 lbs they will be able to get out of their incubators and into cribs!!! And we should be able to start nippling the boys, well Ean for sure, within the next couple of weeks!!! They both got measured Sunday night and they are exactly the same length and their head circumfrence is exactly the same. They are getting to look more and more like little babies than little monkeys!!! Jordan is doing good at his dads, but he is ready to come home!! I told him when the boys come home he will be able to come home and he was excited for that! Dave is Dave!! He is still a very proud daddy and comes and sees the boys every weekend. He is getting much better at holding them and even took a nap with E-Man on Sunday! He was still a little nervous with Camdan cuz of the giant IV in his little body!! I am doing very well and am not having any more pain from the C-Seciton. I am getting back into my old clothes again and got yelled at by my doctors for loosing to much weight to fast-- but going to the hospital numerous times a day and sometimes forgetting to eat and pumping on top of that---what do they expect!! So all in all we are doing pretty good and cant wait to get all the boys home for good!! Christmas isnt looking so hot but around the first of the year is still plausable!! Hope everyone has a very good Thanksgiving!!
Again we want to thank every one again for their continued thoughts prayers and support!! We love ya all!!

The 7th floor

Hey everyone, just thought I would give everyone a quick update!! Camdan as of last night is weighing in at 2 lbs 14.5 oz and Ean is weighing in at 2 lbs 11 oz!!! They are starting to look like little babies and not old men!!! Both boys are on full feedings and are no longer on any billi lights and both boys are completely off of IV fluids and had their central lines taken out! Camdan has lost his little umbilical cord and we are still waiting on Ean! They had their last set of brain scans on monday and they looked perfect for both boys. Ean is still a little spaz monkey like me and Camdan is still laid back and calm like his dad!! Camdan looks a little chunkier through the face but other than that I havent been able to tell any difference. Hopefully I will be able to get the boys together for a picture then I will really be able to tell if there are any differences!! I want to thank everyone for their continued thoughts prayers love and support! We apprecitate it so much! Hope all is well in everyones world!!
Lots of love,
Dave Kara Jordan Camdan and Ean
PS
The boys were moved up to the 7th floor on Friday and have continued to flourish!! I am now able to alot more of the cares and hold them each once a day without difficulties. We have more room and the boys are still right next to each other!! When they hit 4 lbs we will be able to put them in a crib and not the incubators!! Right now though we are waiting for that 3lb club! All the nurses said that it seems to take forever for the 3 lb club but once the babies hit them they tend to sprout wings and take off!! We are praying!!
